Who needs a reason to be romantic? It’s nice to be romantic at any time of year. But still, it’s lovely to celebrate Valentine’s Day whether it’s with your partner, your loved ones or yourself. We all need as much self-love as we do relationship love.

  3. Wrap up warm and take a winter’s walk in your local nature spot
  4. Buy your favourite foods from M&S and go for a winter’s picnic
  5. Book to do a craft class together
  6. Bake your favourite winter warming pudding
  7. Spend the night in a castle (like this one)
  8. Cook that fancy meal that you saved to Pinterest ages ago
  9. Make a den in your living room and snuggle
  10. Go on a roadtrip to somewhere new in the country (I’ve got my eye on the Lake District)
  11. Buy these love heart shoes
  12. Spend a day volunteering together
  13. Go wild swimming together
  14. Watch your favourite classic romantic movie
  15. Cuddle, simply cuddle
  16. Send a care package
  17. Enjoy a supper club meal together
  18. Fill the house with fairy lights (I like these ones)

    There are so many fantastic options here. I like the idea of wild swimming or going on a winter picnic. I like things that go against the grain.
