Catching Up

Eeek! This past couple of weeks have been so hectic and Rosalilium has suffered. This makes me so sad. I miss my blogging. Anyhow, there’s no point being down in the dumps about it. I thought I might share a bit of a catch up of what has been happening.

I have been updating Three Jelly Moulds and a Wardrobe with a few more lovely vintage items, including some of my favourite bed linens. Will be sad to see them go, but extra happy if they go to a good home. I have had a good response from the Sunday Times Style article which has been most encouraging and a few favourites have made their way to a new vintage at three jelly moulds and a wardrobe

Over on Domestic Sluttery I have made Tamarind Chicken and Mango Sticky Rice. I have lusted over these stunning Yumalum prints and this gorgeous Anthropologie Bike Dress.lately on domestic sluttery

I was featured on The Bag Lady this week, sharing what’s in my handbag.

Last weekend the boyf and I walked across the road to the Northampton Rugby stadium to watch the Saints vs Tigers game. It was my first live rugby match and we had really great seats thanks to one of the boyf’s bosses. I was amazed by how different the atmosphere is compared to a football match. The crowd were much more polite and I loved how the how stadium falls silent for the conversion kick. It was really interesting and fun.

I have also started work in a corporate environment for a bit. So I have been joining the rat race getting up at the crack of dawn, dressing as smart as I can (which I’m not sure is very smart) and getting into work early to make the most of the staff canteen and the fried breakfast, yum!

I have added an email subscription box in the righthand sidebar so if you want a daily dose of Rosalilium to your inbox simply pop your email address and subscribe! (I know everyone has a different preferred way to follow so choose from RSS, Bloglovin, Facebook, Twitter, and now email).

Hope you are all having a rad weekend so far and I promise to be back with lots of fun, pretty and interesting next week on Rosalilium.

  1. I used to spend a fair bit of time in Northampton working for Barclaycard there. The corporate life is not bad for a while, pays the bills. I’ve been the rugby stadium, a few corporate dos and meetings there.

  2. I think whenever you have a new thing in your life (a JOB being quite a big one) blogging does fall to the wayside a bit. I miss your blog chat, but I’m glad you are having new challenges and enjoying life.

I love that blue bag, and I LOVE the wee blue sugar bowl. 🙂

I’ve just had a roast chicken dinner, and yet that fry up made me think ‘mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm’!

  3. Wow you sound like you have been incredibly busy, I feel guilty for sitting on the couch reading blogs instead of doing all the things I should be doing. C’est la vie.
