There’s nothing like a brightly coloured nail to cheer up a dull summer’s day. That was my exact thought as I was marvelling at my neon yellow nails the other day. A nail colour so bright it was practically glow in the dark.
I was recently sent a couple of Orly nail polish to try out. I haven’t heard of the Orly brand before so was curious to find out more. It’s an American brand specialising in
The colours I have are the bright yellow called Road Trippin, and a bright orange-y red called Life’s A Beach.
These colours are party on the beach, summer loving colours that will look great with a tan. Although my pasty pale was equally rocking this nail polish.
The application was a little trickier for me and not my favourite. The formula is quite thick which I found difficult to apply evenly. I’m not much of a nail expert so I did make a bit of a mess when applying the first time. I think the nail varnish starts to dry quickly which means if you make a boo-boo you need to fix straightaway or it will become sticky.
The colours are fab and I think the rest of the range would be great too. The packaging is pretty simple but I do like the long lid as it makes it easier to apply with a full handle.
If you have a better handle on nail varnishes than I do and love bright colours on your nails you might like to check out the Orly nail polish range.
