Outfit: Green Safari Dress

Green Oasis Dress

On Sunday we popped down to London for the day to attend the Blogosphere Magazine Afternoon Tea Party event in the rather lovely Aubaine just off Marylebone High Street. It was a fantastic afternoon of chatting with other bloggers and readers of the magazine. And as always fabulous to spend time with Alice, the editor and founder of the magazine.

I have been writing the agony aunt column for Blogosphere for 2 years now! I can’t believe how quickly that’s flown by now, but it is something I love to do, because it was one of my favourite things to talk about.

Green Oasis Dress

I kinda wished I’d taken some photos of my outfit before the event because my dress looks awfully creased. But it’s something a little bit different for me. I don’t wear green as much as I should and this button down dress is not my usual cut of dress.

I do like the casual vibe of the dress though and I adore the sleeves being just off the shoulder. And POCKETS! It’s a dress with pockets, that wins all the prizes.

Anyhow, let’s talk about warm it’s starting to get. YEY! I didn’t even need to wear my coat. I am so excited for the prospect of warmer times. This winter has kicked my butt. I am totally ready for getting my pins out and seeking out new picnic locations.

  1. I have a green safari dress that I bought more years ago than I care to count. I don’t wear it all the time, but it comes out every year without fail. A timeless classic with a relaxed and practical look, yet stylish appeal.
