There are few things that make my heart sing as much as these delicious American-style pancakes for a weekend brunch.
It’s actually one of the family treats we have when we go to visit my Daddio. He’s much more of a fan of the American-style fluffy pancakes than the thin crepe like ones we usually have over here.
Personally, all pancakes are good for me.
But when it comes to a decadent Sunday brunch nothing quite beats these fluffiest of fluffy pancakes with a side of crispy streaky bacon and a huge drizzle of maple syrup. All washed down with a cup of tea and you’re onto a good’un.
Kittens eyeing up your brunch escapades are purely optional.
I’m such a fan of long, lazy brunches at the weekend. They remind me slow down, enjoy myself, they can be super social if you want them to be, and decadent food is always good for the soul.
Good job Sunday, you win again!
