Chocolate Mint Leaves

chocolate mint leaves

They are utterly divine and perfectly refreshing in warmer weather, recipe to follow.

This recipe is simple with just two ingredients and makes for delicious and unusual bites. I used dark chocolate because it’s my favourite, but milk chocolate would be fine too. It’s also a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and an even better opportunity to lick melted chocolate off your fingers. Yum.

Chocolate Mint Leaves

  • a handful of freshly picked mint leaves
  • 50-75g of dark chocolate

  1. Line a baking sheet or large plate with baking paper
  2. Melt the chocolate either in short bursts in the microwave or bain marie style, until just melted
  3. Remove from heat and gently dip the mint leaves, one at a time, into the melted chocolate covering both sides. Gently tap  off excess and lay flat on baking paper to dry.
